Policies and Frequently Asked Questions
Payment:
A $100 deposit is required to secure your event date and time. This deposit is non-refundable, but will be applied to the total cost of your event. The remaining payment is due when service is rendered. Payments may be made online through google checkout. Cash is accepted, but no personal checks.
Rain:
Big D Engine Company will show up, rain or shine. If you choose to postpone your event because of weather conditions, your deposit will be held and you may reschedule your event within 30 days. Dates and times based on availability. Rain check must be made at least 24 hours prior to the event.
Rides:
At this time, rides are not available for the entire party. A special ride for the birthday boy/girl with a parent may be arranged upon request. A birthday ride is $50 and the child must be accompanied by an adult (Mom, Dad, Grandpa or whoever) The ride is bumpy and loud but a lot of fun for the kiddo and the adult!
Parking at the event:
Please be sure that there is at least 50 feet of clear parking at the event site.
Can I have more than 12 kids at the Party?
Yes! Invite them all! Big D Engine Company can accommodate any number of guests. There will be a $2 charge for each addtional child for the 1 alarm party and $5 charge for each additional child for the 2 alarm party. Final headcount must be given 24 hours in advance.
Travel:
Big D Engine Company will go up to twenty miles from Addison, 75001 at no additional cost. For trips beyond the twenty mile range, we charge $25.00 for each additional 20 miles.
